This August, Colorwise celebrates eight years of helping people discover the colors that make them look and feel their best.
When we launched Colorwise in August 2018, it was the first virtual color analysis service available online. Our goal was simple but ambitious: to make personal color analysis accessible to everyone, not only those who could visit a professional consultant.
By offering the service for free, we helped democratize color analysis. Since then, Colorwise has been trusted and used by millions of people around the world.
We also pioneered purpose-built AI for personal color analysis - technology created specifically to understand a person’s natural coloring and identify the palettes that complement it. Not a general-purpose AI trying to do everything, but a focused system designed to do one job and do it well.
And we did not stop there.
We later launched My Best Colors, the first app dedicated to personal color analysis. It introduced a wide range of unique features, from the Color Analysis Camera and Virtual Color Draping to personal palettes, wardrobe tools, and even a Color Memory Game designed to help you recognize your best shades more confidently.
More recently, we introduced Wardling, our new AI stylist. Wardling takes the Colorwise experience beyond color analysis, helping you understand how an outfit works with your proportions and styling goals, try looks on, and find similar pieces to shop.

Today, we are celebrating eight years of innovation with the launch of a completely refreshed and modernized Colorwise.me.
The new Colorwise takes personal color analysis to the next level.
You can now explore modern outfits directly on Colorwise, recolor each individual piece using shades from your personal palette, and create combinations that feel right for you.
Once your look is ready, you can open it in Wardling to see how well it suits your proportions and styling goals, try it on with Try-On+, and discover similar pieces available to shop.
Personal color analysis has never been more practical.
A Better Experience Across the Entire Website
The new Colorwise is much more than one new feature.
We have modernized every page and every tool across the website. We listened closely to your feedback and reviewed virtually every part of the Colorwise experience.
The result is a more powerful platform that is also clearer, faster, and easier to use.
We improved navigation, layouts, controls, instructions, mobile usability, and the overall visual experience. The tools you already know are still here, but they are now easier to find and more pleasant to use.
Easier and More Reliable Color Selection
Some of the most important improvements are inside our color analysis tool.
Selecting accurate colors from a photo can be challenging, especially on a phone screen. Small areas, subtle shadows, reflections, and highlights can easily affect the colors you choose.
To make this easier, we added a new magnifier that gives you a much clearer view of the exact area you are selecting. This makes color analysis more comfortable and precise on mobile devices.
We also improved the Color Picker itself.
As you move over an area of your photo, Colorwise now highlights similar colors elsewhere in the image. This helps you see whether the color you are selecting is truly prominent and representative, or whether it comes from a shadow, highlight, reflection, or isolated area.
Together, these improvements make the analysis process easier to understand and help improve the reliability of the results.
Everything You Know, Only Better
There are many more refinements throughout the new Colorwise.
We improved existing tools, simplified confusing steps, reorganized certain sections, and added countless small details that make a meaningful difference.
We did not remove the features you rely on. Some tools may have moved to more intuitive locations, but everything familiar should still be there, along with new capabilities to explore.
After eight years, we are incredibly proud of how far Colorwise has come. What began as a free online color analysis tool has grown into a complete ecosystem for personal color analysis, outfit inspiration, styling guidance, virtual try-on, and shopping.
Most importantly, Colorwise continues to be shaped by the people who use it.
